She answered. "Hey Aerie." The masculent voice answered. "Oh Joe! What uup bro?" I said exstatically. "Nothin, chillin. Italy's not the same without you. I miss you, how's America? Have you gotten fat yet?" His voice was silly as always, I laughed. "Yes, Joeseph! I weigh like 400 pounds. I finally fit in! I giggled. "So, how're mom and dad and Justers?" I asked happily. "There grrreat! You wouldn't believe who Jus- hoo- f- m---" Then I heard the endless annoying beeeeeeeeeeep that you get when they hang up. I shrugged, he was like halfway around the world, it was common for us to lose connection. He was probably driving or visiting Chessie, Aria's horse.
The cool breeze brought warmth to Aria. She loved the cool air of fall. The changing of the trees' leaves was magnificent. All of the colors were so beautiful, the warm colors of the cool air. It's ironic isn't it? How the air is so chilled, yet you are seeing the warm colors of the color wheel all around you. I guess it sort of symbolizes the warm air leaving and the cool air coming. She walked through Belview Park. The weather was perfect and the scenery was perfect, perfect plus perfect equals extra perfect! So, naturally, Aria was having an extravegant day.
She sat on a bench in her yellow converse and her regular skinny jeans and her bright, neon yellow zebra tee. She wore a brown hat and scarf to complement the bright colors. She just stared at the scenery, not really taking anything in. Watching the children play on the playground not to far away and the parents steering sailboats, Aria felt so at ease. She closed her eyes and breathed.
She must have fallen asleep because when she awoke the warm colors had engulfed the sky, it was getting late. Her cell phone began to buzz. "Hello?"
Aria began to feel goose bumps rise out of her skin, so she decided that she should probably head home. She stood up, put her phone in her back pocket and began walking back to her apartment. Then, the overpowering feeling of being watched came over her. She whipped around and nobody was there. She walked a little faster and tried to peek to see if anybody was following her. She turned around completely and got an angry look on her face and yelled, "Go away! I'm a blackbelt in karate! You do not want to mess with me!" She knew that it was probably nothing, but she couldn't help but feel like she needed to run, so she did.
